Two main populations turn to me in search of an activity for Bat Mitzvah in the classroom:

1. Mothers who want to celebrate their daughter’s Bat Mitzvah in class
2. Teachers who are looking for an activity for the class around this special year – the year of the Bat Mitzvah, which is full of various activities dealing with the topic
   and want to open/summarize the year with a festive and unforgettable activity related to the year of the Mitzvah.

When a mother turns to me, looking for an idea for a class Bat Mitzvah and is interested in an activity for girls specifically at school, there are several possible reasons for this:

• Or celebrating an event intended only for the family
• Or that even though the girls are invited to the event, it is less feasible to hold a workshop for them at the event itself, but still do not want to give up a workshop for girls
• Or it is the event, and for various reasons they want to hold it at the school.

There is something very exciting and special about doing the Bat Mitzvah in the classroom, a place where you are used to a very specific kind of routine, suddenly changes its face and becomes something completely different.

What exactly is a jewelry set, and why did I choose to conduct the workshop in this way?

Usually, the number of girls in a class workshop is about thirty girls.
When you want to give such a number of girls a workshop, which is between an hour and an hour and a half long, you have to take into account that if you want the workshop experience to be fluid and enjoyable, you have to make it as easy as possible for the girls.

• The explanation should be short, concise and clear
• The technique should be interesting and innovative, but also simple and easy to understand
• It’s better that the girls don’t have to get up to look for the beads, if about thirty girls have to get up at once to choose beads, we haven’t started the workshop yet and already the atmosphere is an atmosphere of competition, pressure, chaos…

If the girls sit and everything comes to them, they remain relaxed and calm, and free for the main thing – designing the jewelry

And the last and most important thing – that the girls will not have to start designing their jewelry from scratch. It is difficult even in the most relaxed conditions of plenty of time and few participants, certainly in limited time and in a workshop with many participants. For all of this assessments provide a solution that is like magic.

A kit is actually a transparent package, which contains everything you need to make one piece of jewelry.
There are sets of necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

The materials in the kits are beads – mainly crystal
and metals coated with 24k gold, 925 silver.
There are silver-based kits, and there are gold-based kits

Each kit is different, and contains a different combination of beads that I adjust in advance.
I bring with me many more sets than the girls actually need, so that each one has the option to choose comfortably, with a feeling of abundance, both in the amount of sets and in the huge variety of colors and styles.
After the explanation, I spread the kits on the tables, and each one chooses a kit from which she will design and assemble her jewelry.
